“ Current
Skelewu” Video Was Leaked”
By Davido
Nigerian Pop Singer, Davido,
has revealed that the recently released music video of his hit song, “Skelewu”, was leaked. According to the
singer, the version in circulation is not the official music video, and should
be disregarded.
The current ‘supposed’ original
video was shot and directed by Sesan, but word has it that the official
version, which is yet to be released, is still in post-production process,
under the expertise of UK-based filmmaker, Moe Musa.
In a series of tweets, Davido
appeared angered by the leakage (which was carried out while he was on a flight
to London), and blamed an anonymous culprit for the act. He also stated that he
wanted it redone because he felt the video was not up to par, and the song
deserved a better video. Check out Davido’s tweets below.
Plus disregard the leak that is not
the official video… The official video is being redone. Thx ..

But sources in some quarters are
refusing to believe the story. One current filmmaker, who refused to disclose
his identity (for friendship reasons), is of the opinion that Davido, after
receiving a number of relatively negative feedback from fans, decided to remake
the video, and the ‘leak’ story is just a PR stunt to avoid blame.
